Challenge
By 2022, PostNord TPL’s existing environmental monitoring network was at end-of-life and generating frequent false alarms. With GDP compliance non-negotiable across large ambient and refrigerated storage areas, the company needed a highly reliable, accurate and easy-to-use system that would reduce operational disruption and provide a robust audit trail.

Solution
Following a multi-vendor evaluation, PostNord TPL selected Vaisala and its viewLinc continuous monitoring and alarm system. The deployment covered a 30,000 m² warehouse with 102 wireless sensors across ambient zones and 2–8 °C refrigerated areas, minimising cabling requirements and simplifying installation. Data are captured continuously and stored centrally to support GDP auditability, with secure access via any web-enabled device.
