Baxter has presented new surgical and patient support technologies at the AORN Global Surgical Conference & Expo 2026, focusing on operating room efficiency, patient handling and connected care systems.
New surgical table designed to support operating room workflows
Among the products on display is the AAT XR spine surgical table, designed to support patient positioning during spinal procedures. The system enables rotation without removing the patient, which may help reduce manual handling and streamline surgical workflows.
The table includes features such as multiple control points, increased weight capacity and battery-powered operation, aimed at supporting a range of patient and clinical requirements.
Smart stretcher targets patient handling challenges
Baxter also showcased the Dynamo Series smart stretcher, part of its patient support systems portfolio. The system is designed to assist healthcare teams with patient positioning and movement in high-demand clinical environments.
The company said the stretcher may help reduce the need for patient transfers while supporting patient comfort and safety.
Advanced surgery portfolio also featured
In addition to equipment, Baxter highlighted its portfolio of haemostatic and sealing agents used in surgical procedures to manage bleeding. These products are used across a range of surgical applications to support clinical outcomes and operating room efficiency.
Focus on efficiency and care delivery
The company said its latest technologies reflect a broader focus on improving workflow efficiency and supporting healthcare professionals in demanding clinical settings.
